CLARKSVILLE, Va. – Gerald Price shot 76-71—147 to score a five-shot victory when the 23rd annual Clarksville Mother’s Day Invitational tournament was played at Kinderton Country Club here May 12-13.

Price, competiting in the championship flight, was among 55 players who competed in the two-day event, sanctioned by the Interstate Golf Association. Other flight winners included Paul Hunt (first), Harold Parker (second) and Tom Hoggs (third). Craig Galbrieth won the senior flight with scores of 78-75—153, while Dave Boger took super senior honors.
