Carolinas Junior champion Gracyn Burgess has committed to play college golf at Clemson. She's one of 58 Carolinas junior golfers to have signed national letters of intent.

At last count, 58 boys and girls junior players from the Carolinas have signed national letters of intent to play college golf, many as part of major NCAA Division I programs.

Clemson of the Atlantic Coast Conference landed standout Gracyn Burgess of Leesville, S.C., for its women’s program. The Tigers also added Jacob Bridgeman of Inman, S.C., and Zack Gordon of Gaffney, S.C., to the men’s roster.

Highly touted Jennifer Chang of Cary, N.C., will journey cross-country to compete for the Southern California women, while Cary’s Riley Smyth will stay closer to home and play at Virginia.

Cannon School teammates Michael Sanders and Lansdon Robbins, both of Davidson, N.C., are additions to the men’s golf programs at LSU and UNC-Wilmington, respectively.
