A new fabric introduced by Sunice, the leading manufacturer of performance outerwear in Canada, promises to be welcome news for golfers.

Zephal, a waterproof and breathable fabric proprietary to Sunice, is being incorporated into the company Typhoon collection of outerwear. Because the fabric is lightweight and significantly quieter than many other fabrics used in outerwear, it more perfectly meets the demands of golfers who seeks both performance and flexibility in their apparel.

The lightweight Typhoon category comes with a three-year waterproof guarantee. Plus, the textured materials accentuated with strategically placed stretch inserts makes Typhoon a fashionable essential, both on the course and off.

An assortment of styles is available, all offering great value considering the technology built into each garment. Each of the styles incorporates many of the golf-enhancing features for which Sunice is famous, such as ergonomic action cuffs, in-pocket ball cleaner, lock-down zipper pullers, the Pro-Trim cinching system and more. Outerwear made with Zephal fabric is available for men and women.

"As Sunice continues its search for the most technical, performance-driven fabrics for golf, we are confident that the Zephal collection will continue to grow as it's supple hand feel and light weight are so perfectly suited to the sport," said Heidi Rowsell, marketing manager for Sunice. "This category makes fashion and function very affordable in a fully waterproof and breathable suit. It's tough to beat on price, performance and looks."

Currently, the Typhoon collection includes more than 30 pieces, including jackets and pants. Jacket prices start at $140, with pants priced from $100. For more, go to www.sunice.com.
