ISLE OF PALMS, S.C;— Despite breezy and chilly conditions, birdies and red numbers kept the Adult-Child round of the Ford-Picard Christmas Classic at Wild Dunes Resort's Links Course heated. Kevin and Miles Eubanks (Warrenville) took the overall championship by shooting 8-under-par 62, narrowly beating Rocky and Trey Howard (Woodruff), Chris and Jay Locker (Chapin) and Andy and Drew Harrill (Spartanburg) by a single stroke. Eight birdies and 10 pars would be the separation needed for Team Eubanks to take the title.

As a result of their overall win, the Eubanks were also the champions of the first Division, again edging the Howards and Lockers who tied for the runner-up spot. In Division Two, the Harrills posted a smooth bogey-free 7-under-par 63 and were victorious by one shot over TJ and Landon Sutton (Easley).

Co-Champions would be crowned in the Third Division, as Jason and Chase Cline (Chapin) and Marc and Jones Saylor (Bluffton) both carded a 4-under-par 66 to share the title. In Division Four, Matt and Cal Harbin (Anderson) made four birdies on their way to a 2-under 68 and a first-place finish by one shot over Greg Giles and AJ Dietrich (Mt. Pleasant).

The 27th Annual Ford-Picard Christmas Classic finishes on Sunday with the stroke play portion for the juniors. Sunday’s round begins with tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. All tournament information, including pairings and results can be found on the SCJGA homepage.
